Role overview
***We are seeking a "GenAI and Data Architect" with experience in Snowflake Cortex Platform. This is a Contract and Remote opportunity.***
**Qualifications & Experience:**
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in **Computer Science, Data Engineering, Machine Learning**, or a related field.
* **12+ years** of professional experience in **data and analytics architecture**, including **5+ years** in a **solution architect** capacity with hands-on experience in **Snowflake** and **Generative AI**.
**Technical Expertise:**
* **Snowflake:** Deep expertise in **data warehousing**, **ELT/ETL**, and **Snowpark** (Python/Scala). Strong command of Snowflake features such as **Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, Micro-Partitioning, Clustering, Zero-Copy Cloning**, and **Data Sharing**.
* **GenAI / LLMs:** Practical experience with **embedding generation**, **vector search**, **RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines**, **prompt design**, and **agent orchestration**.
* **Snowflake Cortex Platform:** Familiar with **Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search**, and **Cortex Agents**.
* **Programming & Tools:** Proficient in **advanced SQL** and **Python** (or equivalent languages); strong understanding of **AI/ML frameworks and libraries**.
* **Cloud Platforms:** Experience deploying and integrating **Snowflake** and **GenAI workloads** on **AWS, Azure, or GCP**.
* **Analytics & Applications:** Skilled in designing **semantic models**, **conversational interfaces**, and **self-service analytics** solutions for business users.
**Soft Skills & Delivery:**
* Exceptional **communication** and **stakeholder management** skills — adept at translating complex business requirements into **scalable, production-grade data and AI solutions**.
* Demonstrated ability to **deliver end-to-end solutions** that drive measurable business value.
**Preferred Certifications: SnowPro Core**, **SnowPro Advanced**, **Snowflake Architect**
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
