Generative AI Engineer

What you'll work on

Model Development: Design and develop full-stack AI-driven applications using React.js (frontend) and Typescript+Python (backend)

Advanced Prompt & Conversation Strategies: Develop sophisticated prompt templates, multi-step chains, and advanced reasoning patterns (few-shot, zero-shot) while managing memory and context for multi-turn conversations.

Optimize & Integrate for Enterprise: Tailor and benchmark prompts to meet enterprise standards (accuracy, privacy, compliance), ensuring alignment with business intent, and partner with engineers to integrate them into agent workflows.

Production Deployment: Own the end-to-end product lifecycle by deploying models and pipelines into our production environment, applying best practices for scalability and reliability.

Performance & Iteration: Continuously monitor model performance in production, identifying opportunities for improvement and iterating quickly to enhance accuracy and impact.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to define problems, develop solutions, and integrate AI capabilities into our product.

Research & Innovation: Stay current with the latest advancements in AI/ML and advocate for the adoption of new technologies and techniques that can add value to our platform.

What we’re looking for

Educational Background: A Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

Proven Experience: 5+ years of full-stack development experience (matching our React, Python/Typescript stack), with 3+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying production-grade machine learning models.

Generative AI & NLP Expertise: 1+ years of specific, hands-on experience building generative AI applications, demonstrating:
Expertise in core Natural Language Processing (NLP) models and libraries along with using 3rd party or open-sourced Large Language Models (LLMs) (OpenAI, Google, HuggingFace, etc.).
Hands-on success implementing advanced patterns with reasoning based prompting including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic workflows.
Experience with fine-tuning or developing domain-specific LLMs.

Technical Proficiency:
Strong programming skills in Python, Node.js, and React.js

Solid knowledge of traditional ML frameworks and services (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, Fast API, Flask).
Deep experience with the GenAI infrastructure, including Vector DBs (e.g. Qdrant), Agent creation tools (e.g. Google ADK, Agent Builder), and Orchestration frameworks (e.g. Langchain, CrewAI).

MLOps Acumen: A strong understanding of MLOps principles for the end-to-end model lifecycle, including experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud ML platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI).

Engineering Foundation: A strong background in core software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms to ensure scalable and reliable production code.

Problem-Solving Mindset: The ability to partner with stakeholders, translate ambiguous business problems into concrete AI solutions, and ensure outputs align with business intent.
