Job Description

What you’ll do

*Collaborate with BizTech and cross-functional teams to design, build, and integrate AI-enabled automations and solutions that drive operational excellence and support Guidewire’s business priorities.

Assist in implementing and consuming AI and GenAI capabilities, contributing to engineering standards, tooling, and the expansion of Guidewire’s Agentic Platform and citizen developer initiatives.

Participate in Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure outcome-oriented and efficient project execution.

Document integration designs, workflows, and learnings to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Help optimize engineering resources, focusing on Python and automation to reduce manual tasks and enhance productivity.

Support the development of self-service dashboards and data-driven decision-making tools for business technology teams.

Engage in secure, responsible use of AI and data, contributing to Guidewire’s culture of innovation and balanced risk management.

What you’ll bring

*Required

Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

Basic understanding of APIs and integration concepts.

Working knowledge of Python, Java, or TypeScript (academic or project experience is sufficient).

Familiarity with JSON and XML data formats.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills and eagerness to learn in a team environment.

Interest in AI, GenAI, and automation technologies.

Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Preferred

Knowledge of AI/ML concepts or GenAI tools.

Familiarity with cloud services and AI frameworks, such as AWS (Lambda, S3, API Gateway) or Google Vertex AI.**

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $52,000 - $78,000 . Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors. All full-time positions or part-time roles working 30 hours or more a week at Guidewire are eligible for benefits that support their health and well-being including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a company sponsored retirement plan. In addition, some roles may be eligible for the annual company bonus plan, commissions, and/or long term incentive awards which are contingent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, company and employee performance.
