Socure is looking for an experienced Head of Content to lead our content strategy and execution. This person will be responsible for crafting compelling, thought-provoking, and research-backed content that positions Socure as the undisputed leader in identity verification and fraud prevention. The ideal candidate is an exceptional storyteller with a deep understanding of B2B marketing, digital identity, fraud, and compliance trends.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with industry practitioners, internal experts, and executives to create high-value content across multiple formats—including thought leadership pieces, research reports, video content, website content, and more. You’ll transform Socure’s unique insights, technology, and expertise into industry-defining content that attracts, educates, and converts our target audiences.
What we're looking for
Develop and own Socure’s content strategy, ensuring it aligns with our business objectives, brand positioning, and demand generation efforts. Create thought leadership content in collaboration with internal fraud experts, data scientists, compliance professionals, and industry leaders. Lead the production of high-impact research content, including market reports, whitepapers, and data-driven insights that solidify Socure’s position as the go-to resource for identity verification and fraud prevention. Oversee and refine website content, ensuring messaging is clear, compelling, and optimized for search and conversion. Expand Socure’s video content strategy, working with creative teams to develop educational and engaging video assets. Develop a robust content calendar that covers a mix of blog posts, social media content, webinars, case studies, and long-form research. Leverage AI-powered content tools like ChatGPT and deep research methodologies to produce high-quality, scalable content efficiently. Collaborate with the revenue marketing team to create content for targeted ABM campaigns, highlighting the success current customers have found so that it can be used for lookalike prospects. Leverage analytics and audience insights to refine content strategy, ensuring engagement, brand perception, and conversion goals are met. Maintain and enforce Socure’s brand voice and editorial standards, ensuring consistency and clarity across all content assets.
10+ years of experience in B2B content marketing, journalism, or editorial leadership, preferably in fintech, cybersecurity, fraud prevention, or identity verification. Exceptional storytelling and writing skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into engaging, digestible content. Experience leading thought leadership initiatives, including working with executives and SMEs to produce high-value insights and research. Deep understanding of SEO, content distribution, and audience engagement strategies to maximize reach and impact. Proven ability to manage a team of content creators, freelancers, and agencies while delivering high-quality, scalable content. Strong understanding of digital identity, fraud prevention, KYC/AML compliance, and related trends is a plus. Deep experience leveraging AI tools like ChatGPT for research and content creation, using them to scale high-quality, data-driven content. A strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset, comfortable using analytics to measure content performance and optimize strategy. A passion for innovation and a commitment to positioning Socure as the leader in digital identity and fraud prevention.
Base Salary Range: $160,000 - $195,000 This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job related factors. Socure's compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, equity, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
