Lead AI Engineer – Drive Scalable AI Innovation in Brussels (Hybrid | Perm or Freelance)
Are you passionate about designing and scaling production-grade AI systems? You’ll work within a high-performing data team to architect and enhance cloud-based AI services used across multiple business units. With a strong focus on performance, scalability, and resilience, you’ll mentor engineers and lead the development of Python-based services that drive real-world impact.
What we're looking for
- Strong Python engineering background
- Hands-on experience with ML frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Cloud-native development (preferably AWS)
- Deep understanding of machine learning techniques and model deployment
- Proven track record delivering production-grade AI/data analytics solutions
- Exposure to large language models or graph-based learning approaches
- Advanced degree in a STEM field
- Hybrid working from a modern Brussels tech hub
