In order to support the AI and Data Solutions Team, Airbus Aerostructures is looking for a Lead Computer Vision Engineer (d/f/m) .
In the AI and Data solutions team we focus on innovative solutions for industrial challenges. We develop applications for Generative AI with Software- and Data-Engineering. As a Lead Computer Vision Engineer, you will spearhead our computer vision initiatives, driving the development and deployment of advanced applications. You will manage a portfolio of strategic AI projects, design technical solutions, and ensure seamless integration across our industrial landscape. Working in a dynamic and innovative environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional and transnational teams to push the boundaries of AI-driven manufacturing.
This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.
What you'll work on
- Lead the computer vision project portfolio for Airbus Aerostructures, providing technical guidance and mentoring to specialists while fostering an innovative environment.
- Design, develop, and deploy robust computer vision models and applications tailored for diverse industrial use cases.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of projects within the platform, from initial R&D to production-level maintenance.
- Drive strategic planning by identifying new technologies and contributing to the team’s computer vision roadmap.
- Collaborate with transnational teams across the Airbus Group, including data engineers and manufacturing experts, to integrate AI solutions into existing processes.
- Ensure technical quality and scalability of solutions , maintaining compliance with relevant airworthiness standards and requirements.
- Stay at the forefront of innovation by integrating the latest advancements in Deep Learning and Computer Vision into current projects.
