Role overview
- Optimize and deploy production ML models for performance and scalability using tools like TensorRT and PyTorch
- Build, maintain, and monitor inference services for new and existing vision models
- Integrate new models into training and inference pipelines, ensuring robustness and efficiency
- Build analytics pipelines for large-scale vision data (billions of images)
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers to expose new model capabilities via APIs and UI
- Diagnose and debug full-stack issues in Python and JavaScript across ML services
What you'll work on
- Experience: 4–5 years professional experience in Python; 3+ years in ML and production deployment of ML models
- Technical Stack: Strong hands-on skills with PyTorch, TensorRT, Python, and proficient in JavaScript
- Engineering Mindset: Writes maintainable, modular code; understands and applies engineering best practices
- Full Stack Oriented: Proficient with system architecture, NoSQL and SQL databases, Serverless
- Vision Domain: Familiar with object detection, classification, segmentation, YOLO, VLMs, and SAM
- Execution-Oriented: Cares about delivering value to real users
- Startup Ready: Experience working in startups or in high-ownership roles; comfortable with autonomy, ambiguity, and rapidly shifting priorities

💰 The target compensation for this role is $200,000-$275,000 base. Each full time Roboflower will receive an equity package- so we are all invested in the future of computer vision.
