Role overview
We are looking for an ML Engineer focused on neural image compression and implicit neural representations.
The project is positioned at the intersection of deep learning and computer graphics. The main focus is on neural networks for image compression, implicit neural functions, neural materials, multi-layer perceptrons, and advanced positional encoding.
You will collaborate with experienced engineers on advanced solutions for compact visual representation, reconstruction quality, and neural material modeling.
What you'll work on
Design and develop neural network solutions for image compression
Build and optimize models based on multi-layer perceptrons and implicit neural functions
Develop and improve neural representations for visual data and materials
Implement, train, and optimize custom ML models
Evaluate model quality, reconstruction fidelity, and efficiency
Collaborate with engineering teams on integration into production workflows
What we're looking for
Strong background in machine learning and deep learning
Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch
Hands-on experience with neural networks, especially MLPs
Experience with image compression, learned image representation, or related computer vision tasks
Understanding of implicit neural representations or implicit neural functions
Familiarity with advanced positional encoding
Ability to design, train, and optimize neural network models
Experience with neural materials
Background in computer graphics or rendering
Experience with visual quality evaluation or compression optimization
Experience with research-oriented ML development
