Role overview
Bastion Intelligence is the company behind BastionGPT, a Generative AI platform trusted by over 9,000 organizations. We help teams work smarter, faster, and more securely with AI, and we're looking for someone who lives and breathes prompt engineering to help our customers do the same.
The Role
We're hiring a Prompt Engineering & Support Specialist: part context engineer, part AI advisor, part customer advocate. You'll work directly with customers to help them get the most out of BastionGPT, translating their needs into effective prompts and workflows. Behind the scenes, you'll test cutting-edge AI models, flag what's working (and what isn't), and feed insights back to our product and development teams so we keep getting better.
If you've spent serious time exploring the capabilities and limitations of tools like OpenAI's GPT series, Google Gemini, and Anthropic Claude, and you can explain what you've learned to someone who hasn't, this role was built for you.
What you'll work on
- Enable Customers: Meet with users via email and online sessions to teach best practices for prompt creation, optimization, and context engineering.
- Troubleshoot & QA: Diagnose prompt-related issues including AI hallucinations, output bias, and context failures, then recommend corrections or escalate to the product team.
- Test & Evaluate Models: Hands-on testing of new AI models (e.g., OpenAI GPT-5.2, Google Gemini 3.1 Pro, Anthropic Claude Opus 4.6) to determine which models best serve specific tasks and use cases.
- Close the Feedback Loop: Serve as the voice of the customer, gathering, synthesizing, and delivering end-user insights to our product and development teams to drive continuous improvement.
What we're looking for
- Must currently reside in the United States.
- Must be able to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
