Role overview
We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to build and run AI systems on Microsoft Azure, focusing on large language models (LLMs), conversational agents, and AI pipelines. This role is hands-on and involves working with text, documents, images, and audio to deliver reliable, scalable AI solutions.
What we're looking for
- Build AI applications using Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Search, and Azure Speech.
- Design and maintain LLM-based agents and AI workflows.
- Handle large documents, text, and voice data, making sure AI outputs are accurate and usable.
- Optimize AI systems for speed, cost, and reliability.
- Work with other teams to understand requirements and deliver AI solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable code in Python.
- Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge with the team.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of software engineering experience.
- 2–3+ years working with AI or LLM-based systems.
- Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI and Azure Cognitive Services.
- Knowledge of agent systems, RAG pipelines, embeddings, and prompt engineering.
- Experience with document processing, OCR, image and audio analysis.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Experience with Arabic NLP or other complex languages.
- Experience with Azure Speech (STT/TTS).
- Familiarity with Semantic Kernel or Azure Agent Framework.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
