What you'll work on
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend and applied AI engineering, excellent communication skills, and a passion for innovation. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential, as you will act as a key contributor and technical resource across teams and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
What we're looking for
- Strong backend and applied AI engineering experience with Python; comfortable owning production services end-to-end
- Working proficiency in a systems language—Rust preferred (C++/Go acceptable)—and a desire to use it where it wins
- Hands-on experience with LLM agent systems and the “agent ecosystem” (multi-agent patterns, orchestration, tool use)
- Real deployment experience: containers, orchestration, scaling, and “it stays up on weekends” operational thinking
- Experience building RAG / search / retrieval systems (vector indexing, ranking, relevance evaluation)
- Deep understanding of LLM architecture and inference optimization
- Experience with distributed compute / large-scale systems (Ray/Slurm/etc.)
- Building internal platforms or libraries for agent reuse across teams
