Role overview
The BI & Analytics/Data Science team at BlockFi provides analytics support across every department within the organization. Our scope includes automated daily/monthly/quarterly reporting, building KPI dashboards/visualizations, creating and maintaining data science and prediction models, and the creation and maintenance of the data engineering pipelines to support all of the above. The work we do helps senior leaders within the organization be confident that the decisions they have to make are backed by clean, audited, timely, and precise data.
What you'll work on
- Assist the Growth & Marketing teams in the maintenance of current analytics data stores and data pipelines, while seeking opportunities to improve efficiency and automation
- Own the end to end process of onboarding, integrating, scaling, and maintaining all external marketing data flows into the BlockFi data environments
- Organize and reconcile large amounts of data to ensure timely, and accurate reporting while delivering a top notch client experience
- Review data for discrepancies among systems to ensure back-end data matches client-facing data
- Create and maintain documentation on key internal data processes that helps to enable the team to train new team members, detail existing obscure data pipelines, and lay the foundation for additional automation
- Be a self starter that finds opportunities for development and can deliver solutions with minimal oversight
- Recognize that no job is too small and egos must not delay deliverables
- Display intellectual curiosity and seek opportunities for personal and professional improvement
