Role overview
About the role:
The Golang Engineer will create and implement features such as Golang interpreters, libraries, developer tools, and utilities to power the Gnolang language. You will have a chance to contribute to a groundbreaking platform from its inception and will help us enforce transparency for the smart contracts in the blockchain industry.
This role is part of the Core Engineering team.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience writing code that both humans and machines can understand
- 3+ years of experience with Golang with a very good understanding of best practices
- Contribution to open-source projects - Please include your GitHub profile in your application as a link on your resume.
What we're looking for
- A strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, including network, storage, OS, data structures, transpilers/compilers, etc.
- Interest in topics such as proof-of-stake, consensus algorithms, decentralized exchanges, public-key cryptography, etc., and preferably already being experienced with DeFi/Blockchain projects
- 1+ years of experience with Solidity, including a solid understanding of Solidity/Ethereum concepts
- Experience working with distributed teams and building distributed systems
