Role overview
We are looking for a
**Snowflake AI/ML Engineer**
to design, develop, and deploy intelligent data and analytics solutions leveraging
**Snowflake Cortex**
, semantic modeling, and Snowflake Intelligence capabilities. This role will be central to enabling next-generation enterprise AI use cases—such as chatbots, natural language search, and document intelligence—directly within the Snowflake ecosystem.
You’ll collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to build scalable, high-performance solutions that integrate
**Cortex Chatbot, Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search**
for PDFs, and semantic models to transform how insights are discovered and delivered.
What we're looking for
* Develop and deploy AI/ML solutions leveraging Snowflake Cortex components (Chatbot, Analyst, and Search) for intelligent data interaction and document understanding.
* Design and implement semantic data models to enable natural language querying and contextual data discovery across the Snowflake platform.
* Integrate and fine-tune Cortex Search for PDFs and other unstructured data to build AI-powered knowledge discovery capabilities.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design data pipelines, vector stores, and embeddings for generative AI and search applications.
* Operationalize Snowflake Intelligence features, including performance tuning, data governance, and model observability.
* Partner with product and analytics teams to embed AI/ML outputs into applications, dashboards, and decision workflows.
* Stay current with Snowflake’s evolving AI ecosystem and emerging best practices for Cortex and semantic modeling.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
* **Overall 8+ Years of experience**
* 3–6 years of experience in data engineering or AI/ML solution development.
* Hands-on expertise with Snowflake, including data modeling, performance tuning, and Snowpark or Streamlit integration.
* Experience with Snowflake Cortex, including one or more of the following:
* Cortex Chatbot
* Cortex Analyst
* Cortex Search (especially for unstructured data like PDFs)
* Snowflake Intelligence APIs
* Strong understanding of semantic modeling and knowledge graph concepts for AI-assisted analytics.
* Proficiency in Python and experience with LLM integration using vector databases or embeddings.
* Familiarity with GenAI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.) and prompt engineering concepts.
* Knowledge of data governance, security, and model lifecycle management in enterprise environments.
* Experience building chat-based analytics or semantic search solutions using Snowflake Cortex or equivalent AI platforms.
* Exposure to MLOps, feature stores, and model monitoring in production.
* Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
* Snowflake certification (e.g., SnowPro Core, SnowPro Advanced: Data Engineer or Architect).
