Role overview
Developer Experience Platform team provides frameworks, services and developer tools to internal engineering teams in Apple to accelerate their SDLC. We are working on a Generative AI based Developer Experience Platform for internal use and assist our app development team. This role involves multiple aspects on the backend, like ensuring LLM based code generation is accurate, and integrating with various enterprise services. You will collaborate with Machine Learning engineers, Software engineers, and other data scientists to deliver and end to end solution for this platform.","responsibilities":"This is a hands-on role for developing and supporting new and existing features. What we're looking for
Bachelor’s Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field, or related experience.
Proven experience in building complex agentic systems using LLMs. Strong programming skills, with a background in software architecture design and development.
4+ years of software engineering experience specializing in enterprise software development, with expertise in backend technologies including Java and Python, along with strong proficiency in database technologies and CI/CD solutions.
Strong programming skills building backend API services using Python and/or Java.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
