Role overview
We are looking for a Master’s student to conduct their thesis project within our prototyping and applied systems team, contributing to applied research in Human–Computer Interaction and Human–AI Interaction, with a strong emphasis on interactive systems, prototyping, and empirical evaluation.
What you'll work on
- Design, build, and iterate on interactive prototypes and research systems
- Implement interaction logic, sensing pipelines, and experimental infrastructure
- Plan and conduct a user study (study design, data collection, analysis)
- Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and designers during rapid iteration cycles
- Analyze results and help translate findings into reports, demos, and research material
- Contribute to scientific writing and documentation for internal or external dissemination
What we're looking for
- Familiarity with HCI literature and evaluation methods
- Experience with interactive prototyping environments (e.g. Unity, web-based systems, or similar)
- Exposure to AI-driven or adaptive interfaces
- Experience with data analysis or statistical methods
- Prior involvement in research projects, demos, or publications
