At my core, I am a creative professional who loves collaborating with people and brands to solve problems and create empathetic and intuitive experiences. My secret weapon is the compassion and energy I bring to my team. I approach my work with empathy, a human-centric mindset, and a data-driven approach. With over ten years of experience in creating and growing future-facing brands, products, and services, I have worked extensively across EMEA and APAC. My diverse skill set includes physical and digital product design, branding, creative direction, content creation, digital design, and management of creative teams. Currently, I hold the position of staff brand designer at Hotjar, where I have become the main point of contact for all creative and brand-related matters as our team expands. Sustainability and future facing work is a huge part of my life, and something i bring into my work life as well. Over the past year i have initiated and developed a “Building a better future” taskforce at Hotjar, where we discuss and implement sustainable ways to work and live. Through this company collective, i have also dug deep into the realm of inclusivity and I am currently developing an unconscious bias workbook to encourage self-reflection and foster a safer environment within the tech industry. I am ambitious, and I prioritise the growth of others, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds. I firmly believe in the power of empathy, and I consistently mentor creatives both within my organisation and through hosting a global design collective. My past work experience and education have shaped me into the designer I am today. I have been fortunate to engage in a diverse range of creative ventures, which have equipped me with expertise in iterative product design processes, new business strategies, and emerging technology concepts. I have also had the privilege of leading and growing exceptional teams and projects within the tech industry. As I have grown older, the alignment of values has become increasingly important to me, and is something I always prioritise when looking for a new role. I am at my best when faced with complex challenges, collaborating with intelligent individuals to find solutions. As a former ADHD kid, I am grateful to have a career that celebrates agility and growth. My goal is to continue empowering others to embrace their inner superpowers and become the best versions of themselves.
