Bio
Hymn is born and bred in the Netherlands, he gained his BA (Hons) degree of Communication & Multimedia Design in the University of Rotterdam in The Netherlands, and MA Philosophy (1st year) in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. As a senior motion designer, Hymn has contributed to various global recognised agencies such as BBDO, TBWA, Ogilvy for well-known brands, such as Nike, Lenovo, Volkswagen, TEDx to name but a few. Alongside his passion for social change, he has supported Kenya's local people to alleviate poverty and helped building start-ups together with Kenyans entrepreneurs by using design thinking skills. He was also a selected candidate for the China Australia Millennial Camp (CAMP) entrepreneurial design thinking program innovating across 15 social sectors between 2 borders. As a designer and social innovator of profession, Hymn has gained international experience from projects around the globe, in places like Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Amsterdam, Kenya(Nakuru), Tokyo and Sydney. Helping world-class brands from sports to education, to transform in innovation and sustainability. As freelancer Hymn has also been hosting workshops around the world about Life Design by a set of self made graphic cards that blends philosophy with design. Hymn's work has been awarded and praised for engaging and connecting with audiences through design solutions.
