I am a web3 native masquerading as a data engineer by day, who processes and organizes data into useful structures at a secure, well-known crypto exchange. Consistent, reliable data is critical to every operation and I empower data driven decisions with confidence without compromising security. I am a firm believer of web3 values, especially self sovereignty and decentralization, having started in 2013 (albeit with some breaks in between) and have used many DeFi protocols (Uniswap, Sushiswap, DEX aggregators, Aave, Curve, Rari, and other lending protocols) and crypto apps (including NFT lending apps like NFTfi and MetaStreet). In order to share my experiences and give an introduction to defi apps, I host workshops for my coworkers (in a crypto exchange) on various defi topics, like leveraged defi yield farming, security practices, and NFT loans. I am always on the look out for promising new protocols/apps and will always share my experience with the like-minded individuals in my community. I own NFTs from several high profile projects and have joined their communities, such as PROOF/Moonbirds and Memeland/Potatoz. I am looking to continue bringing my data engineering experience into expanding the crypto space. In a personal project capacity, I have deployed multiple versions of an NFT Solidity project onto Rinkeby, starting with the basic ERC-721 and ERC-721A contracts and adding features with each subsequent version, such as whitelisting and contract upgradeability.
