Gene Early, PhD, is a global leadership architect and executive coach who works at the intersection of identity, culture, and exponential growth. Over a four-decade career spanning Silicon Valley, Europe, and global advisory work, Gene has helped CEOs, boards, and senior leaders unlock transformative outcomes by shifting how they think, lead, and operate from the inside out.

He co-founded Genomic Health, where he played a pivotal role in shaping a people-centric culture ranked in the top 2% globally, demonstrating that culture is not a soft variable. It is the operating system that drives innovation and performance.

He was a pioneer in bringing Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) to Europe. As the first certified trainer to live and work in Europe, Gene co-founded the continent’s first NLP training institute, worked to develop the NLP network of training institutes in Europe, and has spent decades translating behavioral science into practical tools for leadership and organizational transformation.

From Europe he moved to Hawaii for a one year's sabbatical and ended up living there with his family for ten years. During that time, in his role as Vice Chancellor of Operations at the University of the Nations-Kona, he catalyzed the organizational redesign for the primary resource campus of this global university with 600+ branch campuses.

As a Senior Advisor and co-developer of Leaders’ Quest, he has guided learning journeys for executives from multi-national companies across four continents, helping leaders integrate purpose with performance at scale.

Gene is the creator of the 10x™, a powerful framework for exponential growth rooted in what he calls the Essential Self, unlocking the core identities that drive meaningful impact. His work invites leaders to move beyond incremental improvement and into transformative possibility. 

His PhD is in leadership and organizational development and he has written numerous articles, posts, and books. 

At his core, Gene is a truth-seeker and catalyst, helping people and systems discover not just what they can do, but who they truly are, and from that place, how they can create extraordinary results.
