The Camera Technologies & Systems team is looking for an enthusiastic and talented software manager. The ideal candidate for this role is experienced in leading a software development team and knows how to increase their impact by guiding the efforts of the team.","responsibilities":"In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team to prototype, develop, and integrate cutting-edge imaging and video technologies into our cameras. The candidate needs to show initiative, take ownership of a problem area, and assume responsibility for leading all the related aspects that need to be coordinated to achieve success. The candidate should also be able to make intelligent compromises between several contradictory factors such as quality, performance, and efficiency. The candidate should also be able to clearly communicate while authoritatively driving and leading multiple projects across many teams across USA and UK.
What we're looking for
Experience leading and developing a team of highly skilled engineers.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong programming, debugging, and design skills in C or C++.
Knowledge in image, video, or signal processing.
Experience developing software for embedded systems.
BS or higher in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $228,100 and $393,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
