Role overview
deciBel Research is seeking a mid-level Data Scientist to support a research effort by performing data processing and analysis of large scientific data sets. Responsibilities include:
- Analyze large atmospheric, meteorological, and climate data sets from satellites, radar, sensors, and numerical models
- Process and analyze geospatial and time-series data
- Collect, clean, and pre-process structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
- Apply statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining techniques
- Translate complex analytical results into clear scientific insights using a variety of plotting packages
What we're looking for
- Experience in atmospheric sciences in the context of radar
- Experience with GPU programming
- Experience with Radar technology
Applicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
