Senior NLP Engineer (Agentic AI) – San Francisco | $150k–$350k + Equity
We’re recruiting for an AI-native social networking company looking for a Senior NLP Engineer to build the language systems behind next-gen AI agents. This is a hands-on role, shipping real, reliable conversational AI.
You’ll work on:
- Multi-turn conversational pipelines and agent orchestration
- Retrieval, enrichment, and memory systems that handle messy data
- Matchmaking logic that uncovers hidden compatibility patterns
- Systems designed for reliability, observability, and measurable outcomes
You have:
- 7+ years NLP engineering in production
- 2+ years building LLM-enabled systems
- Experience with LangGraph/LangChain, Python, TypeScript
- Hands-on with retrieval systems (MongoDB, Redis, AI DBs)
Nice-to-haves: social/recommendation platforms, RL experience, trust & safety systems
