Role overview
We are seeking a versatile and proactive Data Scientist to join our Data & Intelligence team. Reporting to the Director, Business Intelligence, this is a hybrid role that blends data science, data engineering, and automation. Ideal candidates will be comfortable wearing multiple hats in a small, agile team environment and working both independently on deliverables and in collaboration with Data Opeartions & Business Intellignece teams.
This role will have the opportunity build and scale advanced analytics capabilities from the ground up as the organization grows. The successful candidate will help establish and grow the data science capabilities within the organization, laying the foundation for and be able to execute advanced analytics projects and deliverables.
*Key Responsibilities:
Advanced Analytics**
- Design and implement statistical models and predictive analytics solutions to support business processes.
- Contribute to building and deployment of net-new advanced analytics capabilities within the organization.
- Identify new opportunities for advance analytic or algorithmic insights to meaningfuly influence business operations & outcomes.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience with AWS data lakehouse architecture, including advanced SQL & Python experience (or similar), strong development experience (e.g. Git, unit testing, CI/CD, etc.)
- Expert knowledge of statistics & machine learning capabilities (e.g. regression, classification, clustering, etc.)
- AI experience/incorporation into models a plus.
